How to ask for a Saturday
Pick the Saturday you'd like in the date step, or say in your notes that weekdays don't work for you. If any Saturday will do, say that too. A flexible request is easier to fit than one fixed date, especially in the weeks before summer and winter when servicing is busiest.
If you need a particular window, such as before 10am because of kids' sport or after lunch because of work, put it in the notes. We'll tell you what's possible when we get in touch, and the confirmed time is the one to plan around.
Jobs that suit a Saturday
Most everyday work fits a Saturday: servicing a split system or ducted unit, adding power points, replacing lights, tracking down a circuit that keeps tripping, or an electrical safety check. Saturdays work well for households where everyone is out during the week, and for jobs where someone needs to be home to open the roof manhole or show us around.
Bigger jobs are planned differently. A switchboard replacement can leave the house without power for part of the day, and power can't go back on to a new main switchboard until a Licensed Electrical Inspector has inspected the work. We'll talk through the best day for that kind of job rather than assume a Saturday. Installations that involve more than one trade are timed around everyone involved.
What we don't offer
We don't work Sundays or outside 7am to 5:30pm, and we don't take call-outs outside those hours. If something seems unsafe while you wait for your visit, stop using it and switch it off at the switchboard if it's safe to reach. If there is smoke, fire or immediate danger, get everyone out.
When the team is away, the website may show a holiday message. Enquiries sent during that time are still saved and reviewed when we're back.
