The 24 suburbs we cover now
Hobsons Bay: Altona Meadows, Altona, Seabrook, Laverton, Newport, Spotswood and Williamstown.
Wyndham: Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing, Werribee, Werribee South, Wyndham Vale and Laverton North. Maribyrnong: Yarraville, Kingsville and Maribyrnong.
To the north and on the city side: Derrimut and Deer Park in Brimbank, Ravenhall, Tullamarine, Port Melbourne, West Melbourne, Flemington and Kensington.
Why we keep to the west
Keeping the area to Melbourne's west means the team spends the day working rather than driving across town, and it makes it easier to plan visits around the times that suit you, including Saturdays within our normal hours.
It also means we know the housing. The list runs from the older cottages of Williamstown, Newport and Yarraville, through the post-war brick veneer and weatherboard homes of Altona and Laverton, to the newer estates of Point Cook, Werribee and Wyndham Vale. Each comes with its own typical switchboards, wiring and heating and cooling setups, and that shapes what we look for when we arrive.
If your suburb isn't listed
Send the enquiry anyway. Put your suburb and postcode in the form along with the job. Some neighbouring suburbs, such as Altona North, Seaholme, Brooklyn, Williams Landing and Tarneit, sit right beside the areas we cover. We check the address and the work before confirming whether we can come out.
Sending an enquiry doesn't book a visit or commit you to anything. If the job is outside our area, we'll let you know so you can arrange someone closer.
Owners, renters and property managers
What counts is where the work is, not where you live. A landlord or property manager based elsewhere can arrange work at a rental in any of these suburbs. Just tell us who will provide access and how to reach the renter.
